I wouldn't describe it as "loud". It's more like a clicker. The description says it has a two tone sound but I don't know where they get it. A click of a button and you get a gong. Multiple clicks, multiple chimes, but it definitely doesn't have two tones, and there's no way to increase the volume on this ringtone. I think the spring loaded button will lose its power after a while, but probably won't be used that often that it becomes an issue. And it remains to be seen if this actually helps to warn passers-by of our approach. Cheap enough that I won't be returning it, but I won't buy it again either.
