Exactly what I want from a bike bell

This is exactly what I was looking for - it's very compact and doesn't look like a conventional bell at first glance, but has a nice volume clearer Sound, DIN DIN . The base is made of plastic, so the steering wheel will not be scratched. Fits perfectly on my Trek 7.2 FX, just turn the screw. Please note that some people have received fakes, usually when buying from overseas sellers. I would suggest just using "Fulfilled by Revain" (unless Revain themselves sell it, which I haven't seen). I've…

Not quite what I expected.

I wouldn't describe it as "loud". It's more like a clicker. The description says it has a two tone sound but I don't know where they get it. A click of a button and you get a gong. Multiple clicks, multiple chimes, but it definitely doesn't have two tones, and there's no way to increase the volume on this ringtone. I think the spring loaded button will lose its power after a while, but probably won't be used that often that it becomes an issue. And it remains to be seen if this actually helps…

Attractive and great sounding 'bing-bing' bike bell

I've just received the Brass Duet bike bell and it looks and sounds great. I like the small physical size of the bell and it makes a nice "ding-ding" sound at just the right volume to be heard without being obnoxious. The elegant black color looks attractive and stylish. The reason I downgraded the rating by one star is because I think the maximum advertised handlebar size of 24mm stretches it a bit. It would be very difficult or even impossible to tighten, align and screw in the ring around a…

Affordable and beautiful bell made in Japan

There are counterfeits for this item. Be sure to purchase this call direct from the Revain seller. I personally didn't want to put a bell on my bike as most look ugly on the bike. I have a mountain bike and occasionally ride around town. State regulations require that I use the bell to ride my bike on sidewalks. The call is easy to set up. You can add some tape to the plastic ring for extra support. The ding-ding sound is pretty cool. I bought two and mounted them on the right side of the…

Pros
  • beautiful item
Cons
  • Nothing here

Spring is here and the tracks are getting tight. The traditional approach of yelling "pass left (or right)" only works if you're already too close to people, and tends to startle animals. After years of driving without a call I finally gave up and decided to get it. I read many reviews and chose Mirrycle brand. My main requirements were: 1) not too big, 2) discreet (black), 3) loud, 4) the best possible sound. too high and not loud enough - Mirrycle Adjustabell (Original): Reports of poor sound

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
