I have three large feeders for my dogs. They always get something from their hair to their leaves, God knows what's in their water. Because they are big and long, I don't want to change them every day. So I use it to stir in bowls of water (with a 5 gallon pitcher on top) and it really cleans the water. Because the handles are long, I don't even have to bend down a lot. I'm older than dirt, remember when Lincoln was president, and I have arthritis. So for me it's definitely a savings factor. They remove sand from aquariums and they work just as well with water bowls and I have used them in my fountain tank. Just great to have.
