Review on Koss SB40 Computer Headset with Built-in Microphone by Adam Gardner

I usually do a lot of research before I buy anything but I was in a rush and bought this without reading all the other reviews. Now I see that others have the same problem as me. The microphone in this headset just doesn't work! I've tried reinstalling my sound card drivers and using a different computer on both Windows 7 and Windows 10. The fact is that even at +30dB Mic Gain these ONLY register and when you plug them back into the headset you get a lot of noise from all that amplification but you still barely hear your own conversation. I wanted to like them, but they are completely unsuitable for my purposes. If you need a microphone for work, this might be for you.
