I have been looking for a comb with these qualities for many years. As for thick hair, I was always afraid that it would constantly pull and unravel the hair stuck in the brush. With this you pinch and push/pull and all hair will be removed. It takes 2-5 seconds to completely remove all hair from the brush and you're done, as opposed to 30 minutes to an hour to fully clean a traditional brush. Another great feature of this brush, apart from the ease of hair removal, is that when all the bristles of the hairbrush are down, you can completely clean the base of the brush. With a clean tissue, I can wipe away any residue from the brush without any chemicals and in just a few seconds, which means that the hairbrush can be completely cleaned in less than 10 seconds after each use. I think all hairbrush brands should offer these hairbrushes as an option to give people the ability to choose from a variety of materials. These brushes are made from a standard hard plastic with bristles that are hard and somewhat flexible. They are much stronger than the WET brand brushes but I wouldn't mind the metal options. I personally find these brushes very durable. I clamped the device down, pushed and pulled quickly and forcefully to test the power, and there was no sign of wear on the brush. I've been using this brush a few times a day for over two months now and it hasn't loosened. This brush deserves 5 stars, although one day I wish these brushes were made out of different materials. To reiterate, the materials they have chosen work and last and appear to be made from the same type of material that most brushes in hair salons and shops are made from. I plan to get more for family members as they become available.
