I tried two other attachments before getting this one. They worked, but not nearly as well as this device. One device had gap problems when attempting to apply glue. Another had problems with blades getting stuck in the holder. Both were difficult to remove excess glue from the slots. But this attachment is completely different and gives you all the options to apply glue and easily scrape off excess glue. It's also easily adjustable to different shank sizes and can handle a variety of blades. I could easily lift a dozen arrows. I could not make this statement with the other devices that I have. The best part is the affordable price. Yes, it's plastic, but doesn't cost more than $100 like some other devices. This is ideal for archers who like to make their own arrows and use blades or feathers that are not available on pre-fletched arrows. Also great for replacing the missing blades that we sometimes get.
