Review on πŸ”¨ SKIL SR211601 Random Orbital Sander: Ultimate Precision and Power by Troy Arnold

Works great with random orbital sanders

Good mill - does its job well. Previous reviews have talked about the dust box coming loose - it's a one handed sander but you tend to use two hands and the only place for the second hand is in the dust box so it comes loose after a while. You only need to gain experience with a grinder to learn not to. to fit and then sanding the edge of the disk, not the whole disk, so it creates a groove or notch that you then have to sand down. It's hard to explain, but you'll understand with experience. I would guess that all random orbit sanders have this tendency. It only takes a little time and experience with a grinder to learn how to maintain even pressure on the grinder, as well as the right amount of pressure so you don't interfere with the disc's rotation and thereby destroy the motor. Great grinder and does its job well. As with any tool, it takes a little time to get the feel of it and learn how to use it properly.

Pros
  • SAND IN HARD PLACES - Thanks to its compact size and ergonomic design, this sander easily gets into hard-to-reach places while providing maximum user control.
Cons
  • Little things
