Review on 🎨 Wagner 0580678 Control Pro 130 Power Tank Paint Sprayer – High Efficiency Airless with Low Overspray by David Flores

I sprayed water for a few minutes to check. I seem to have done a good job. But after adding the diluted latex, it ran for about five minutes before the pump started making a loud thump and the pressure dropped. I wasn't able to free the pump, but managed to salvage the hose and gun by removing them and blowing through them with an air hose, causing a huge mess in the driveway. The pump sat overnight with a tub full of soapy water. The next morning I tried again. Still the same loud noise. This is a trash can that I am very disappointed in. I tried going through Revain's return policy but it didn't work. But at least I have a hose and a cheap $240 spray gun. Better than nothing. It seems to be a very cheap Chinese POS. NEVER buy Wagner anything. I saved the hose and gun but it came at a price. Never again, complete junk. Edit: Flipped it today and removed the cover from the bottom. What seems to have happened is that the piston is attached to a small piece of plastic that attaches to the connecting rod to the eccentric cam. That little piece of plastic was broken, the piston couldn't move, and the noise was coming from the connecting rod dangling in the body. From the looks of it, I'm surprised he didn't rip the case. I could find a way to reattach the piston but I doubt parts are available. I have yet to disassemble the pump and see if I can clean it of the already cured paint. Not sure if it's worth it, I doubt it will last more than 5 minutes again. Really cheap parts and design. Edit again: I tried cleaning the pump and salvaging this POS but it was cheap stuff that shouldn't be repaired, only replaced at a very high cost. The hose and gun I wanted to reuse were weird metric threads that wouldn't work with any true airless sprayer. Overall, I am very disappointed that neither the seller nor the manufacturer took responsibility for this when asked. NEVER BUY A WAGNER.
