My husband is blind so we bought the watch because of the size of the numbers. It delivers: He can see it from several meters away. But we were surprised by some unexpected additions: 1.) The instruction manual on the back of the watch is printed in white type on black plastic, making it easy to read and not lost. 2.). The instructions are clear and detailed enough that we don't have to guess the meaning of any symbols. 3.) The alarm clock is gentle. 4.), and it turns off with a quick swipe, not a hard-to-find button. 4.) We appreciate the three sturdy slots on the back of the clock in case we ever want to hang it on the wall. 5.) The red color is understated, almost soothing, which is unexpected for a bedside clock.
