My wife wanted some spoons with a longer handle like the Koreans. We saw this set and thought it might be the same length. Although slightly longer than our current cutlery set, it is actually shorter than the Korean one. This set looks very modern, but the quality leaves a lot to be desired. I was expecting better quality as our current set that we got from the department store was actually higher quality but cheaper. While we like the thin handle, I feel that the knife's thin handle makes it a little less comfortable to use compared to regular knives. Also, according to the care instructions, it appears that if the set is exposed to acidic foods for a long period of time, it can damage the finish.
