Review on πŸ”§ BETOOLL Cast Iron Welders Angle Clamp: Secure and Precise Joining Tool for Welding Projects by Hassan Tomlinson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

$15, use twice, done = good deal.

I used to ask if anyone knew the thickness of the printed side, but no one did. For $15 I decided it was worth a try. Well, for my application (Saab 9-3) it was too big - the press didn't fit between the axle cup and ball joint stud, and the fork didn't fit between the ball joint and lower link. I'm not surprised not many tools fit properly other than the factory tool. Since it was only $15, I had no hesitation in taking a cut-off wheel and trimming both sides of the press and fork about 1/4 inch. Now it fits perfectly! I give this tool 5 stars because it seems pretty solid even after the mod. I've used my modified version 6 times (four ball joints, two tie rod ends on two cars) and it works great. The tie rods on these cars are no joke, so if they lose 1/2 inch of metal and you can still separate them, I'm fine with that. I think most people who buy a $15 tool will only use it once or twice. If you're buying this class of tools for a professional setting, you're doing something wrong. So $15, use twice, done = good deal.
