Review on πŸ” Enhanced Precision with ZEISS 10x42 Victory Rangefinder Binocular: Unmatched Long-range Magnification by Wayne Girard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exceeded my expectations of what's possible with quality glass + rangefinder as a bonus!

I use Bushnell budget binoculars, so my vision will not be typical of you. Compare high-end glass. Hopefully this will be my first and last purchase of high end binoculars in my life and so far the comparison is literally night and day! Wow, I never thought there would be such a big difference in color contrast and glare resistance too, oh my god in the amount of light with a lens of the exact same size. Whatever Zeiss magical magic/technology is doing to their glass, it definitely works and makes me feel like I got a bargain price without the buyer's regrets jumping into a high end binocular. Now I can say that I fully understand when people say "buy once, cry once" when it comes to quality glass. The reason I say I got the deal stolen is because I paid $3,000 at Revain for a brand new pair of RF 10x42 factory sealed while the new non-RF version is around $2,700 at the time of writing. costs dollars. this review, so for the extra $300 I have the added bonus of a range finder, which I want to use to load some ballistic info for my 300WM and 308 rifles for long range shooting and future big game hunting. So far when comparing the accuracy of the rangefinder I haven't had a chance to verify its accuracy, but if something is wrong I'll definitely go back and edit this review. It seems accurate at short ranges that I've tested, but the primary reason for using these binoculars is for RF and ballistic data, so I'm hoping to get it as far as possible in the near future. In summary, from a purely optical standpoint, these binoculars are simply amazing, and the additional $300 bonus for the rangefinder is just the icing on the cake. If you can afford it then, as the saying goes, "buy once, cry once" and live with no regrets. FYI I'll probably see if I can find some kind of clear screw in the glass of the lens that will give me extra protection from scratches. My caliper says about 46mm should work and I'm hoping it threads easily into the rubber cap as I can't see the threads. In addition, I hope that this modification does not affect the optics or the operation of the rangefinder. I just don't want to be in a similar situation to the other reviewer and end up with scratched glass.
