Review on B'laster 128-SS Surface Shield Bulk 1-Gal Pail: Ultimate Protection for Various Surfaces by Ronald Howlett

Works well. The application is complex. Best Options

First of all. I'm not sure if it costs twice as much as liquid foil. This product is thinner and consumes much more in the air and on the ground unless sprayed with a professional gun. It sprays more like a liquid vegetable oil than a wax and keeps dripping if you apply a little more firmly. If you have a cheaper primer gun, lightly spray and spread with a brush. Next time I'll use black liquid film and maybe a can or two of this surface protectant to get into places where thinner oil is needed. It seems to work much better in tight spaces. It also has an odor, for the people who say it doesn't smell like anything. It smells very much like motor oil and if you smear it on your exhaust it will remind you of that every time it gets hot. So pack anything you don't want to spray in bags. I think it's a good product, it's just that the price is high for what you get at the moment and the application method needs to be fine-tuned. A gallon of this wasn't enough to finish my regular Silverado cab. I had to take a jar of liquid film to finish it.
