It looks and works the same as its newer model, but the HDMI port is only .

Looks and works the same as the newer model, but the HDMI connector is in a bad place if you plan to use it with a Raspberry Pi in the same box. The other model has a connector at the top that allows it to sit on top of the Pi board without cables. I feel bad about giving 4 starts but it's advertised as one for the Pi board and I think the connector placement just doesn't add up. I googled the model and got the latest driver from their website. I didn't bother using the driver on the CD. Works perfectly.
