As far as I can tell, it has all the features as the more expensive ones:1. VERY bright. You really can't look at it when it is at full brightness.2. Very easy to set the timer, brightness, and color temperature - just lightly touch the buttons.I really don't know what else it's supposed to do.(This one was for my wife, for her nightstand, beside the bed.) I just bought another one to mount above my head at my computer workstation in order to give me a nice bright workplace with no glare and, due to the large size, no shadows.
