Very satisfied with this product - as other reviewers mentioned the smell I washed it twice in warm water and dried it on low before using. I wasn't thrilled at all when I first opened the package - very hard and chewy (it stunk too) but I needed a wool blanket and it was relatively affordable. It came out of the wash very very soft and fluffy (NO SHRINKAGE! I measured.) - I didn't notice any odor - the only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 was the amount of fluff - just clumps and lumps, in the machine and in the dryer, but I just continued the cycle with no heat to fluff and remove lint until the shedding stopped. I thought it was great for the money and keeps me warmer at night - very happy with it.
