This is a new design
All those negative reviews where people just aren't well informed. This is a new design from Baldwin. It's a single stage filter (unlike the TP3018) and it's perfectly normal to look through. It's still rated at 4 microns and 99% water removal (same as TP3018). This has been discussed on the Duramax forum page and this filter has been tested with good results.
