The hair sticks to it more than I'd like, but there are a lot of variables that can affect this so I'm not overly concerned about that. I just washed it quickly and gently and hung it up to dry. (I don't know how well it holds up being washed after each use but it hasn't fallen apart yet. It fits well. You must have a very thick or tiny neck for this not to fit. The only downside might be, that it's too open at the back for home users who can just sit on a stool or whatever instead of in a barber chair. But it works.
