I never write reviews but I am very disappointed and outraged. I bought this based on the reviews and I liked that it was made of glass as it makes it easy to see and ensures everything is clean. BUT! He immediately had this weird white and green dotted ring around the bottom. I cleaned it before first use and we always clean it when we use it. I also like to leave the lid open after use to let moisture out and dry well. I have had many electric water heaters and if I have ever seen this white ring it has been 2 years after using them. ALSO! Oh my god it smells bad! I don't know what it is, we only used it for water and because of the smell we only used it about 5 times and kept cleaning it. But because of him, the water smells, it's like a chemical smell. Absolutely awesome! We won't be using it again and I don't recommend it.
