I bought this item to install on my Ford Escape.

I bought this item to install on my 2014 Ford Escape. I downloaded the manual from fortin.ca. mypushcart had no reference for my 2380 SKU which is strange. Let me summarize the steps for you because it took me some time to figure it out. if you have SKU 2380 probably similar to model0. Get ready, make sure you strip the wires, identify the wires you need, not all wires are used; 1 connector has 20 wires, but you only need 4. and connect the wires to the main wiring harness before you get in the car! Follow the pattern, make no mistake.1. Remove the steering wheel cover 2. Disconnect the immobilizer plug (to the right of the steering wheel), behind the point where you insert the key, connect to the socket on the supplied T-harness, only plug in 1, plug in. Plug the end back into the car.3 . Disconnect the ignition plug on the other side of the steering wheel, opposite the immobilizer side (to the left of the steering wheel). Plug into the female end of the T-shaped wiring harness of the attached cable, just fit 1. Plug the male end back into the car.4. Make 2 docking connections with the high/low voltage cables in the OBD.5 connector. Hold the button on the bypass box, connect the black connector, 4 pins, wait for the blue/red indicator, release the button6. Connect the other 3 plugs, 20 pin (white), 6 pin (red), 5 pin (white) 7, program the keys, insert the first key, turn on, wait 3 seconds , do not start the car, turn off, take out key.8, 2. insert key, repeat step 7.9. without the key in the ignition, hold the button down, wait for the car to start, then release the button. 10. The device should turn off automatically after a few seconds. and then everything is ready. Congratulations. Press the lock button three times and your car should start. Press the brake to spin the car. You will still need the key to drive the car, I think for security reasons.
