This product was recommended to me by a nutritionist-oncologist for treating mucositis. When my radiation oncologist heard her suggestion, he was skeptical that if there was any product that could help me, it deserved a Nobel Prize. I went ahead and followed her advice and gave it a try. That works great! This greatly reduced the severity and duration of the wounds. To be honest my first thought was that it seemed a bit expensive but the result I got is worth it. Here it is 9 months later and if I relapse I just use it again. It's easy to use. The unflavored version has a slightly sweet taste, but is by no means overpowering or repulsive. Not at all"medicine". Definitely a 5-star product (worthy of the Nobel Prize).
