Review on Café Specialty 10-Cup Insulated Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker: WiFi Enabled Voice-to-Brew Smart Home Kitchen Essential – SCA Certified, Barista-Quality Brew in Matte Black by Ashley Valdez

This is one of the nicest coffee makers and one of the worst. It meets all SCA standards, has great tech, etc. But when it brews, it spits the coffee grounds back into the coffee maker - everywhere. The photo here doesn't even show what a terrible mess this thing makes. I tried different grind settings as recommended by GE and whatever it was I burped all over the countertop, in the machine itself, and as you can see in this picture, I spat back into the shower head and plumbing. It took over 30 minutes to clean each time and the coffee was unusable because it was also full of grounds - I have to say, coffee that actually went into the carafe. Sent this unit back and received an OXO 8 cup coffee maker which is also SCA certified and brews delicious coffee quickly and accurately. I've since read comments on the GE website that others have had the same issue.
