The system works and the attitude is not bad. I would recommend the company. It works great for security systems with NVR. However, if it's a traditional security setup, you won't be able to use the cameras for "fun projects" like slow motion footage (either in advance or from a recorded feed). Also, the NVR is located in the closet. I assume all control and maintenance can be done through the PC application. However, this is not the case. You can update the DVR firmware from your PC, but the camera firmware needs to be done locally on the DVR. To do this, you also need to download the firmware on a PC to a USB flash drive, then the NVR will need a local monitor and the control will only be done with the mouse. Pooh. Please make all updates from my spreadsheet and make them "Auto" too. And the firmware is not easy, you have to deal with a hardware version and a software version. Many matching numbers. Just remember that you need to update PC/client software, NVR software and camera software through different processes. This is a complaint. I haven't made cameras yet (I have 6 of them with 3 different HW/SW tag values) as it seems like a pain.
