This charging station works as expected, it charges the controllers. The problem I have is that 3rd party controllers are not 100% suitable and you have to fit them in. This is because many third-party controllers have ergonomic protrusions where the originals are flat. Because they don't go in and out easily, the entire dock moves around a lot with 3rd party controls as only the USB port on the side connects to the OE dock. Overall, this is a good charging dock, and when using it with third-party controllers, you simply hold the dock with one hand while removing the controller with the other.
