Review on 🚗 Dorman 699-200 Ford Accelerator Pedal Sensor, Black - Enhanced SEO by Domonic Roberts

I replaced a faulty Ford accelerator pedal position sensor on my 2000 F350 with this Dorman sensor. I found it much more economical to just swap out the sensor than to buy a complete pedal assembly. The sensor was easy to swap out, fitted perfectly and connected to the wiring harness like the factory one. My gas problems are solved with this new sensor at a fraction of the cost of a new pedal assembly. I don't want to give this item 5 stars just because I don't know how long it will last. I have driven about 125,000 miles with the original pedal assembly and about 125,000 miles with the Ford factory replaced pedal assembly. If I drive that many miles away from this sensor, I'll happily change my rating to 5 stars. The time will show. January 9, 2015 After only 25,000 miles my Dorman sensor failed. I think partly due to worn bearings or bushings in the pedal assembly itself. So I changed my mind on this product to: A great economical way to live some time and maybe buy some time, but I think it's actually better that Replace entire pedal assembly.
