Fixed my gas problem

This fits my 1999 Ford F-250 7.3L diesel engine. I had terrible gas problems, it was easy to fix, about 10 minutes after I figured out how to do it. It's a key style so you can't go wrong and as long as it lays flat on the gas pedal and is properly aligned it's just two bolts and you're done.

Excellent replacement part

I replaced a faulty Ford accelerator pedal position sensor on my 2000 F350 with this Dorman sensor. I found it much more economical to just swap out the sensor than to buy a complete pedal assembly. The sensor was easy to swap out, fitted perfectly and connected to the wiring harness like the factory one. My gas problems are solved with this new sensor at a fraction of the cost of a new pedal assembly. I don't want to give this item 5 stars just because I don't know how long it will last. I…

Fixed throttle deadband/spike, gear kick in my 7.3L

Update 18th January 2018 I was wrong. This part is fine. I will explain it in detail in case someone else runs into a problem like me. The issues I described in the November 20 update are related to transmission line pressure issues. Turns out my transmission filter had actually fallen out of the transmission and was just sitting in the sump.
