This is my second macrame project and it was a lot of fun. I'm 9 months pregnant and now have insomnia so I do crafts at night to keep me busy. The nursery we made for my future daughter has a unicorn and rainbow theme so this project was perfect. I spent one night with it. The YouTube video you are watching was short and to the point. Easy to follow. I was only wrong once at the beginning, because instead of counting centimeters and just letting the purple strand hang, I was happy about the scissors and cut it off instead. However, it's okay. I tied it back and never made that mistake again! I also added glue to the knots of the tassel to hold it in place because I noticed that the first tassel I made was in danger of falling apart. Once I figured out what was going on, I just continued the pattern to stay consistent. It was user error but not a problem with the directions! I tend to look at things a little more. Got it. That's great!
