I have owned several Rada knives for a number of years and they are in very good condition. The blades stay sharp and the handles are as durable as when you bought them. As others have said if you wash them in the dishwasher or don't take care of them the handles will discolor like mine. I don't have a dishwasher but I leave my knives in the water or in the sink where the water washes them etc. I liked them so much I ordered this set for my daughter and her husband as she said she wanted a set so the handles wouldn't loosen and fall off.
