Edit: Guess a lot of dingbats return modems and Comcast can't remove it from an 'active' account for some stupid reason. Looks brand new and everything just can't be used with Comcast! I suspect the term is screwed up now. Went to local Comcast store to try and "prove" that it was my own Mac. Thanks to the previous owner who was a lazy sob. They use this MAC address on their current router. This renders the modem I received useless on the Comcast network. Thank you Comcast for wasting money, gas and hours of time for me and others and for Revain. I bought a new version of this modem and it works better than a rented Comcast unit. Find out.
