At first I was disappointed with the finish on the bottom of the door: it looked uneven, some areas seemed darker than others. I had to assemble right away so I used it as is. Assembly was a lot slower than expected as you have to account for the hidden bracket that runs behind the floor. If you install the door so that the bottom of the door is too close to the floor, the strut will pull on the sill when opening. I had to use some spacers to lift and avoid this. But - the end result is very satisfactory, and instead of a metal door that is beginning to rust, I have beautiful hardware. Nice combination with satin nickel door fittings.
