These work as expected. Shut down, cool down, restart. I had a known issue with my F250. Short circuit of the overdrive switch wire in the column, the fuse blows. Excellent. but this fuse breaks the dashboard, the GEM module, the charging circuit. It was winter and I didn't want to disassemble the steering column to fix the cable and I was in the process of installing fuses. Oh. resettable fuse. Gratitude!
