Easy to install. Turn off the light switch. Remove the old light bulb or plug. Screw into the socket. Turn on the light switch. Let there be light! These two panels of LED bulbs light up a three car garage better than the old style incandescent bulbs and two T12 style fluorescent bulbs. The panels can be folded up or down like wings and repositioned to direct the beam to different areas. Beam coverage is 360 degrees, but you'll notice clipping and this is where repositioning the panels can help. The motion sensor is sensitive. I notice light leaking through the edges of the garage door even before the garage door opens. I would like the light to stay on a little longer without having to restart it again while driving. If I'm working in a garage and stop briefly, I have to move quickly to turn the light back on. There's an "Always On" mode if you toggle it on and off three times, but there are scenarios where I expect to be in the garage for a short time and end up staying longer than expected. So I have to go back to the switch to change the mode or tug/move from time to time to keep the light on. It should do the trick with a few minor workarounds.
