The most natural protein bars I could find.

I really like these bars. You're unique, and here's why. Most protein bars contain maltitol and other alcohol-based sugars to help reduce calorie intake. Do not get me wrong. That is a laudable goal. Most of us buy protein bars because we want to feel full after a workout, in the morning, as a snack or as a meal replacement, and we also don't want to lose muscle mass. But these artificial alcohols tend to do some damage to our digestive system and cause severe bloating. In addition, the question arises as to whether the body reacts to a large percentage of the population in such a way that it really makes sense to eat them (e.g. sweets). We're humans, not guinea pigs, and I hate those 10,000-ingredient protein bars under the cap that most of us don't know the effects of. I still buy those "fake" protein bars when I need them (post-workout), but with the NuGo Slim bars, I honestly will be doing it less and less. various protein options and reading labels. This one impressed me because it put a lot of effort into delivering nutrition while being all natural. The reason they aren't a HIT is because they don't have the same candy bar flavor as other protein bars. Now I understand why other protein bars are so popular because they taste like candy but are "good for you". Thing is, I'm not sure if all those chemicals are good for you. If you want, you can of course also become a guinea pig yourself. However, NuGO is where I will be. The aromas are very reminiscent of a dark chocolate bar instead of a sweet one. If you like those things, you'll love this one too. If you don't like it, you should try to get used to it, because I think you will appreciate this taste. If I have any complaints about the bars (other than the price, um) it's that they're a bit dry.
