I bought this because it has an adjustable flow which I wanted considering my other vacuum draws water very quickly. My issue with this, like other reviewers, is that I find the tube to be too long for the Fluval Edge aquarium. It's such a simple solution - use pipes of different lengths. My other issues are that it's quite difficult to start the suction, which seems to bother my 5 gallon betta, which I also use this for (it disturbs the water in the small tank to make it work). Finally, the hose is very stiff and easy to pull out of the bucket. The bracket helps, but the hose needs to be more flexible (as does the other vacuum I have which, as I said, has a too fast flow). The only thing I like is the adjustable flow rate while sucking. In general, I'm looking for a replacement for something better.
