Works quite well in Gravel Cleaners

A bit trite, but it serves its purpose. Will last many, many uses. Good product for the $, I will be using this on my 5 gallon tank for years.

Pros
  • Handy Stuff
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Good quality. Best in Fish & Aquatic Pets

Yes, it is easier to use and more convenient than a traditional siphon. I want them to make one for the big tank. I use this in my 15g red shrimp tank.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Volume

Doesn't work: floor cleaner

Would be nice if you could actually get it to vacuum up water. Three of us tried it and none if you could get water to flow through the pipe even though it was assembled correctly. Returned.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Has flaws

Best Gravel Cleaner

AMAZING! A pump or two and that's it. Features a low to high water flow control valve. Very durable. Cleans perfectly, water and sub-gravel, all moves. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Communication with Seller

My issue with this, like other reviewers, is that I find the tube to be too long for the Fluval Edge aquarium. It's such a simple solution - use pipes of different lengths. My other issues are that it's quite difficult to start the suction, which seems to bother my 5 gallon betta, which I also use this for (it disturbs the water in the small tank to make it work). Finally, the…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires outlet

I wish I had done this sooner

I have been keeping freshwater aquariums for almost 15 years and have always had trouble with the old manual siphon method of water changes. I tried the water in the fish tank, spilled the water in the fish tank, sucked fish and shrimp, etc., etc., unnecessarily suffered the inconvenience caused by the usual silicone hose for weekly cleaning of the bottom and removal of the water. Recently I finally upgraded my water. Switch hardware for my 30 gallon tank. I replaced the 5 gallon orange buckets

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Something different
