I had an ECM error on my tractor unit, 06 Volvo VNL 780 with normal sleeper cab. I needed a way to control the fan. This control with a contact change on the relay connector is just the thing. The controller assembly comes with enough wires to reach the dash, back to the solenoid that turns the fan on and off, and a probe long enough to reach the opposite side of the radiator where water is coming from the engine returns. All I needed was a wire harness. To protect everything, this kit is complete and well designed. The stainless steel bracket is a great extra.
