Review on 🔌 1 HP Electronic Sump Pump by Flotec - E100ELT Model by Fernando Ramani

Purchased from Revain. This is a wonderful pump - works like a dream. My old, smaller, zinc/thermoplastic Flotec 1/3 HP pump was constantly hanging with the float on the sides of the pot, preventing it from loosening or worse, reactivating. I have a water alarm that went off in the middle of the night requiring me to move the float to pump out the water. I never knew when it would hang, even after moving the pump from position to position within the shard. I saw it and decided to donate. We live in an area with a thick layer of loam that really lends itself to regular potting unless we are in a dry spell of several weeks. The new pump went in quickly and after I filled the jug and hooked it up to the GFI, it pumped the water out within 2 seconds (the old one took a little longer). I installed a silent check valve that worked really well to control the "BANG" water hammer I used to get. I really recommend this pump if you need 1hp power. - there are no moving parts on the water sensor and nothing hangs or falls out. The water alarm hasn't gone off yet and I hope I never hear it, but it's nice to know it's there - just in case!
