Review on Pykal Whistling Tea Kettle ICool by Roy Whetstone

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Pretty Nice: Dishes & Sets

When it became available I jumped at it. I have a Pykal salad spinner and was impressed with its technique, so I expected good results from it. My fifth kettle (do I have problems?), this is by far the best. Others put their hand too close to the fire, or whistle badly, or both. My everyday kettle is pretty good, but it can't be used at high power without risking the handle melting (this happened to me - I used the second one). The handle rises well above the heat level here. The cap opens easily for filling (doesn't fill through the spout like many others) but is tight enough that the pipe works very well. Yes, the pen stays cool; Yes, the fill button works fine; The style is more modern than the rest of my kitchen but really very inviting, especially with the mix of polished and brushed stainless steel. The tea infuser attachments that come with it are nice, easy to open and close, but really doesn't matter as it's all about the teapot. This is my new everyday teapot. If I ever run into any issues I'll update this, but I really can't imagine what could happen as it's a nice solid build. Very happy! EDIT: Six months later I still love this teapot. Stupid to love, I know, but I use it every day.
