Review on πŸ”ͺ Premium Black Swivel Vegetable Peeler by Spring Chef by Reed Rustman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So sharp I severed a thin piece of my thumb with no blood or pain!

Fantastic cleaner. I bought one for my husband as my sister "borrowed" my kitchen knife and the leftover knife we had was dull and cut too much meat. I usually scrape with a sharp knife rather than a knife as I can remove a much thinner piece of leather and I peel faster with a sharp knife than with a knife. my old kitchen knife). It will be removed as thinly as a knife (perhaps thinner) and faster than a knife. It's even good for peeling softer fruits (like medium-soft mangoes) that are harder to peel with a knife without removing more flesh than I like, or peeling more slowly than usual. The skin is so thin that you can see the green skin instead of the orange flesh, and it's so sharp I can quickly peel even a medium-soft mango. My thumb lightly touched what I thought was the blunt metal edge of the knife to make sure there wasn't any sticky mango juice left behind, but I accidentally got too close to the blade and it ripped off part of my thumb. Luckily it was so thin that I didn't even bleed and didn't even penetrate deep enough to feel paper cut pain - it literally just cut off a piece of my epidermis without hurting any nerves. With that kind of sharp thin cuts, I might have to get another one to try on my corns on my feet! My blade didn't have a sticker, but it did have a removable and reusable plastic cover over the blades. , the handle is a little thick for small hands when held in one position, but I always hold it between my thumb and forefinger in the vertical, thinner part of the handle as this position seems to help separate quickly, so the Size of the handle works perfectly for my medium (female) hand.
