Does not fit properly

According to Revain and part number to fit 2015 Ford Focus SE but the closed end lip is too large to fit properly and will not close when properly installed. I'm pretty sure it actually damaged my car as I went to tighten the last bolt and found it didn't fit. Holding the correct filter, which I bought at my local auto parts store for the same price, you could see the difference and why it didn't fit properly. Upset even though I got a refund for wasting time and having to fiddle with returning something that should have fit. In addition, the box was worn and looked wet at some point.
