I assembled it (very easy), installed it on my Jeep and tested it on bikes. I really had to use a hitch extender to remove the oversized spare tire. I think this will work great. I'll find out tomorrow. I will update the review if it doesn't work as expected. 4 stars because I had to use a hitch extension and there was also a U-bolt and steel plate which weren't mentioned in the instructions. I don't know what these parts are for, but they don't seem necessary. EDIT: Tried it and it worked great. I found out that the U-bolt is an anti-rattle device. My only complaint is that the straps holding the bikes are a real pain to buckle and unbuckle. I had to use pliers.
