I can't tell you how many car mounts I've bought for my cell phone in the last year. They all suck and never work for me. This is the best I've found. While not 100% perfect, it does the job well enough that I'll keep it for myself. My biggest issue with these (and all the others I've bought) is that they're not designed for a larger/thicker phone (like the Otterbox Defender). Pages to "click". My first attempt to attach it to the windshield failed. It was simply because it was at such an awkward angle that I couldn't get it to the windshield. The next try was perfect. I had to make a few adjustments to actually make it work in my machine, but the current setup is about as good as I think I'll get. I wish manufacturers would take into account that smartphones are larger and place the side "arms" an inch higher where they sit on the phone because their current position is tilted down because the phones are heavy on top. Although this holder is not perfect. great for a smartphone with a thinner/lighter body and definitely worth the money! The only thing I didn't really like was the sticky pad that the phone sits on. I left the protector because I feel it will be covered with dust and dirt. Very personal opinion!
