After falling in the shower I immediately ordered this product. I cut the strips, rounding the corners using the quarter as a cutting guide, and pinned them around the drain as stars (so they don't get in the way of the water). Now I feel confident. 5 months have passed and there is no sign of recovery. Before applying, I mopped the floor in the shower with a mixture of TSP with a small amount of bleach (usually used to clean the bathroom). Then I wiped the floor with alcohol. I think the key to strong adhesion is a flawless finish and rounding the corners of the strips.
