This PSU lasted me 4.5 years and probably 3 builds. It has just started giving me random blackouts, which is disappointing. I was hoping to live with it for a few more years as I've barely used it at 500 watts. Only 3 years guarantee. I've heard people ask why full modularity matters (why the required ATX connector is coming out), so I'll explain a few reasons why it helps me. You can purchase longer or shorter cable sets based on your needs. The cable management can be routed in all directions and is easier to adjust if a component needs to be replaced. If that power supply fails, it's just shy of recovering your system on the fly because there's no need to re-route all those cables. If the price wasn't so high, I would just buy another one so I don't have to rebuild my system. and I really liked it, but there are similarly good devices that cost a little less with the same 3-year guarantee.
