Update: It took a little over a year to go bad, even with a special vinyl cleaner. The attached photo is from two years ago, now completely faded and cracked. This is the most realistic carbon fiber vinyl I have ever seen. Because it has a glossy finish on top, it looks a bit thick. The app is good; It's sticky enough to stay in place when positioning, but easy enough to remove and reposition. However, once you apply a squeegee or heat it will increase adhesion to your surface and will fully cure in a day or two. It also expands well when heated, so you can fit it around corners and edges. I originally bought it just to see how it looked and was so pleased I decided to box the dash. I will be ordering more later to re-wrap my hood as the foil I used protected my hood from rocks but was too easy to damage. This film looks like it will hold up better than what I have now. Update: bought more and wrapped the hood. Looks great! Be sure to fix any blemishes on the hood first as the shine will make them stand out. Also, don't forget to warm up the stretched areas.
