For me, I can only use it with the rear USB-C port between the headphone jack and the front USB port on the right side because of mine hard shell. The shell extends too far towards the connectors for the plug to be the right width for the connection. This obscures either the front USB port or the headphone jack, making them unusable due to the 90° angle the cable enters. If the cable was straight like the original connector, I could use it with other peripherals on this site. That being said, the magnetic connection works both ways: the cable goes in the front or the back, so I can choose which connector I want to donate to. The other issue is that it's really hard to remove once it's plugged in. I had to pull it out with pliers, which of course chewed through the power plug. These two serious exams bring my overall score to 3/5.
