I ordered this for my 2005 Toyota Corolla S to fit a non-original single din stereo which I recently received. I've never installed a car stereo before so I didn't know what to expect even after watching a few videos but I installed it yesterday and although it took a while it wasn't too difficult. I'm very glad I got this particular dash kit because it fits perfectly and includes wiring harnesses that I can connect to my Toyota's existing stereo wiring. It comes with two side panels, left and right, which attach to the side of the main unit. . The kit includes a set of screws to securely attach the sides to the radio when installed. There are two spacers that I didn't use because the stereo fitted fine without them (and I couldn't fit the radio with them). I also didn't use the front panel piece because I couldn't figure out how to remove the existing front panel piece from the new stereo, if it could be removed at all. The bag of wire harnesses had color codes printed on the wires. on it, and they matched the wiring harness of the new radio exactly, which made connecting wires a lot easier; just match like colors. I used radiator splice connectors to connect the dashboard wiring harness to the new stereo wiring harness because I had a box with me, but I'm sure wire nuts would have worked just as well. After I connected the stereo to the dash kit and all the wires were soldered, I took everything to the car and plugged it in. It wasn't that difficult, I just had to make sure the plastic tabs didn't catch anything when I inserted it. installed, secured with factory set screws and the rest of the dashboard put back in place. then i realized i forgot to connect the antenna cable so i had to unplug everything again to do it. There is another review that has a picture showing that this dashboard is not flush with the surrounding dashboard, but I didn't have that experience. mine fits perfectly. The only very minor issue I noticed is a small gap at the bottom where you can see a pin snapping into the plastic underneath. It's not very noticeable unless you look at it directly in good light (which I did when installing it), and even then it's not very noticeable. I'm sure if I tried I'd find a way to fix it, maybe a dab of hot glue or some sort of release agent, but I can't even see it properly and it doesn't bother me so I'll just let it go it as it is. One final note: I made this purchase not only because of the price and because it came with wiring harnesses, but also because it had an empty open slot at the top instead of the bottom. Most of the ones I looked at had it on the bottom but I wanted it on top so if I decide to make a platform holder for my GPS then the GPS will be above the stereo and not cover it.
