Review on North States MyPet Petgate Passage by Katrina Coniglio

Damn. I want a simple door that fits between two walls. The instructions and amount of detail were ridiculous to get to this point. It doesn't work like any other baby gate I've ever bought. It was frustrating, and the instructions were oddly worded at times and definitely not in a standard format. You would have instructions about the step and then the next paragraph would say what you need to do in the previous step to be correct. (ie make sure you put the up arrow on the last step!) PROS: - Looks nice - Relatively stable once installed CONS: - Expensive - Some steps cannot be undone - I ended up with the door lock parts snapped together before I put them in the slots. This seems permanent unless I can somehow penetrate the plastic and pull them together. - There are way more parts to collect than expected. - Difficult to assemble alone. - Difficult to add extensions. (I ended up cutting my finger trying to remove the side inserts with the recommended flathead screwdriver) I get it. Maybe I was having a bad day, or it reads like one of those people who can't change a lightbulb. I also understand that as this is a single door child gate my expectations may not be fair. I'm still not satisfied with my purchase.
