Review on Invisible DIY Electronic Cabinet Lock Kit with USB Cable - Hidden Lock Set for Wooden Cabinets, Drawers, Pantries, and Lockers - RFID Entry by Desmin Dickerson

Strong lock, not very strong motor

Arrived fairly quickly and exactly as advertised. Now for the specifics, there were 3 cards and 3 keychains in the kit. There is no reset button where it says it should be (just a hole with nothing in it) but when I turned the lock on it immediately beeped 'ready to pair' and I was able to get all the cards and keyrings on the first try with no problem couple. In the event of a power failure (battery dead and not plugged in) the lock STAYS LOCKED which isn't a problem for me personally as it's plugged in and running on batteries as a backup and I can open the back of my cabinet to get access after Inside. with a complete loss of performance. But if you're installing this on a cabinet that you can't otherwise open when your batteries are getting low and it's not plugged in, you'll have to pry open the door to open it. I installed these on a vertical sliding door, which means that when I close the closet door, the weight of the door is on the lock. The sliding (folding) door weighs about 20 pounds. The lock is strong enough to hold the door fully closed, but the motor isn't strong enough to unlock when the weight of the door is on the lock, meaning I have to push the door up to unlock enough to take weight off the lock motor. Unlock. Otherwise I haven't had any problems with it so far. Key cards and key fobs work great and hold securely. Installation was easy for me as I had easy access to the application area from the back of the cabinet, but getting the lock perfectly lined up with the tongue can be a little tricky as the lock itself needs to be lifted slightly for the tongue to slide in to fit the buckle, that is, if you place the buckle and tongue on a flat surface, the tongue will not slide in easily. In this case you can use some spacers, it might not look pretty but it will work.
