You might think when I bought this can opener it was for opening cans. nope This is an amazing tool for removing lens filters stuck on your DSLR lenses without damaging them. Because it's rubber, it won't scratch or scratch your filters like custom made plastic lens filter keys. I used this on a Tilfen 67mm UV which wouldn't budge with normal rubber mats, straps and hand wrench methods. The problem with other wrenches is that they will inevitably destroy the coating on the filter and lens if not done correctly. I just bought this lens online and it came with a frozen filter. Nothing will budge and I'm not a pushover. A few twists in a strategic spot and it was the cheapest and most effective tool for the job, plus it can be used on many other fixed lenses. It is large enough to hold a 72mm diameter filter and all sizes below. All for $8.99 for two! It's really a bargain if you wanted $40-$80 for silicone or rubber lens filter removal kits that fit most sizes. I think it works wonders for glasses too 😁. A great device that saved me a trip to a camera shop and maybe $25-$50 in labor.
